IGRC Paris 2008
Cité des Sciences
et de l'Industrie
October 8-10, 2008
• Dan A. Dolenc Award
In honour of Dan Dolenc, the well-known organiser and promoter of previous IGRC conferences, a prize was awarded for the first time at the Vancouver conference in 2004.
A panel of experts from the gas business will choose an award winning paper from the papers selected for the poster sessions for the Paris conference. The winner will receive a certificate and a € 10,000 prize

The IGRC calls upon you to submit a paper for this conference

Papers should discuss significant results from research, development or demonstration projects related to the gas business in its broadest terms. Papers may address any part of the gas chain, from well to burner tip, and the wellness of the customer.

Carre Selection of papers

Papers for the conference will be selected on the basis of abstracts submitted to this website. The Technical Programme Committee under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Beckervordersandforth, member of the board of EoN Ruhrgas, will organise a committee of international experts to select the papers.

The procedure for presentations slightly differs from previous conferences. Submitted abstracts will only be selected for poster sessions. Invited speakers will give the oral presentations.

If your abstract is accepted you will receive confirmation by April 30st 2008. Your full paper must be sent in by August 1st 2008 to make sure that it is included in the Proceedings of the conference, that will be provided to all conference attendees on CD-rom at the start of the conference. In total a maximum of 300 abstracts will be accepted for poster presentations.

After acceptance you will be asked to give a poster presentation at one of the three poster sessions organised as part of the conference. The poster sessions are the centrepiece of the conference, allowing the expected 500 attendees to communicate directly with the authors of the papers.
